Ecco Topsy,
avevi ragione tu!
(Urka, forse mi devo far ridare i soldi virtuali da issuu.com: in The Circle of Jewish Life hanno riportato la stessa frase in inglese, citandola da Bava Metzia 59a!) :mrgreen:
Ovvero: Be very careful if you make a woman cry, because God counts her tears. The woman came out of a man's rib... ecc.
In Bava Metzia 59a, tra l'altro, c'è scritto:
Rab said: One should always be heedful of wronging his wife, for since her tears are frequent she is quickly hurt.
Nel Midrash Rabbah - edizioni Soncino - cap. 18 paragrafo 2 si trova scritto in riferimento a Bereshit II,22 "And the Lord built (wayyiben) the rib, etc".
Ed è esattamente quello che riporta la morà (moglie di Rav Richetti, ora in pensione, tornato a vivere a Milano e attualmente capo della consulta rabbinica italiana. Come dice Demy:
Mica bau bau micio micio!)
R. Joshua of Siknin said in R. Levi's name:
Wayyben is written, signifying that He considered well (hithbonnen) from what part to create her.
Said He:
"I will not create her from [Adam's] head, lest she be swelled-headed;
nor from the eye, lest she be a coquette;
nor from the ear, lest she be an eavesdropper;
nor from the mouth, lest she be a gossip;
nor from the heart, lest she be prone to jealousy;
nor from the hand, lest she be light-fingered;
nor from the foot, lest she be a gadabout;
but from the modest part of man, for even when he stands naked, that part is covered.'
And as He created each limb He ordered her, 'Be a modest woman."
Sono contenta di averti incontrata su questo forum. Mi dai lo stimolo per imparare cose nuove e, perché no, forse di poter fare anche un briciolo di lashon harà con te
